Project Spotlight: Hospitality Installations

Whether the design is casual or ultra luxury, great lighting helps define the atmosphere for hotel and restaurant applications. And, often the job requires custom lighting fixtures to create just the right ambiance.

New Luraline hospitality projects range from the opulent Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort, which opened recently in Sunny Isles, Fla., to the Bahama Breeze restaurant chain.

Luraline produced custom-designed acrylic bowl pendants and ceiling fixtures for the elevator areas of the four-star Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort. In addition to 390 guest rooms, the resort features a $6 million pool complex and 8,000-square-foot spa.

For the Bahama Breeze casual dining restaurants, the Luraline design team produced custom wall sconces with a palm tree motif. Specially designed swing-arm fixtures for the Holiday Inn Express in New Mexico were another recent custom job by Luraline.
