Luraline Announces Sales Achievement Awards, Appoints New Reps in Key Territories

Luraline Products Company announced its 2004 Sales Achievement Awards during the company’s annual sales meeting held in New York City in mid-April.

SESCO Lighting Inc., of Jacksonville, Fla., received Luraline’s top sales prize. The 11-person Jacksonville office, which has worked with Luraline since 2002, reached 128 percent of their sales quota for 2004.

According to SESCO Jacksonville Manager Gary Spradley, Luraline’s focus on customer service helps contribute to his company’s success in selling Luraline lighting fixtures.

“Luraline is extremely responsive, with a high service level,” Spradley said. “They are flexible to our requirements, while still remaining competitive in the market and offering high-quality fixtures.”

Luraline’s second-place sales award went to Illumination Sales, of Olathe, Kansas, a manufacturer’s agent specializing in commercial, residential and industrial projects. The largest commercial and residential lighting manufacturers rep agency in the United States, Pilipuf-Grist & Associates Inc., of Elk Grove Village, Ill., received the third-place sales award. In addition, Kevin Lehr & Associates of Columbus, Ohio, received an Honorable Mention.

Both SESCO Lighting and Pilipuf-Grist & Associates are first-time winners in Luraline’s annual sales competition.

New Sales Reps Appointed in Florida, Arkansas, Iowa

Luraline also announced the addition of new sales agencies in the southeastern United States.

Sales award winner SESCO has added another territory to its representation of Luraline in Florida. In addition to Jacksonville, they will also now be in charge of selling Luraline lighting fixtures in the Ft. Myers area. SESCO focuses on commercial and decorative lighting for architects, engineers, electrical distributors and interior designers.

Meanwhile, Long Sales Agency, Inc., of Little Rock, Arkansas, has been named Luraline representative for the state of Arkansas. The agency, whose customer base includes architects, electrical engineers, civil engineers, electrical wholesalers and lighting showrooms, was founded in 1979 and focuses on commercial, residential and industrial lighting projects.

Finally, Associate Electrical Sales (AES) Lighting Group of Omaha, Nebraska, will also now represent Luraline throughout the state of Iowa in addition to their Nebraska territory.
