Luraline's new Lighting Specifiers Handbook will include data and references on the latest energy guidelines and legislation, and will assist specifiers in navigating the ever-changing maze of environmental issues impacting the lighting industry.

One of these is the government’s Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), which mandates new standards for metal halide fixtures, energy-efficient light bulbs, high-performance federal buildings, the creation of a nationwide “Smart Grid,” and other energy initiatives.

The product catalog portion of the new 100+ page guidebook will feature some of the company’s well-established families of high-quality commercial lighting fixtures, and introduce innovative new specification-grade products.

These include the first Luraline fixtures available with LED and INDUCTION light sources and products that qualify for inclusion in building projects certified by the US Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program.
